BOOK TO ACTION

Book to Action is a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant, that encourages public libraries to engage with community partners to provide book-themed programming and related opportunities for lifelong learning. Book to Action initiatives tackle important issues in the community and encourage reading, community discussion, and action through a flexible series of events.

In 2022, the library did a series of programs on racism called From Just Us to Justice: a Community Equity Challenge.

In 2023, the library received another grant on the topic of sustainability, called All Benicia Can Save: a Sustainability Challenge.

Although the programming is over, we still have the resources available.
