FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
FRIENDS OF THE BENICIA PUBLIC LIBRARY MISSION
The Friends of the Benicia Public Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of volunteers whose purpose is to:
- maintain an association of persons interested in books and the library;
- focus public attention on library needs and services; and
- promote fundraising, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Benicia Public Library.
Since 1994, over $1,325,000 comprising proceeds from Friends sales, memberships, and donations has been given to the Benicia Public Library to fund the purchase of books and materials as well as programs for children and adults.
