The Benicia Public Library (BPL) will review all comments for appropriate content and adherence to civil discourse. Any comments containing, but not limited to, the following are considered in violation of the library’s Code of Conduct and will be immediately removed by library staff:

• Abusive or vulgar language
• Harassment
• Hate speech
• Insults or personal attacks
• Specific and imminent threats
• Advertisements
• Endorsements
• Organized political activity

Comments and posts that are off-topic or spam may also be removed. Benicia Public Library reserves the right to determine which comments are acceptable for its social media pages. By posting content on any of Benicia Public Library's social media sites, you agree to abide by the above rules. Repeated noncompliance or egregious behavior may result in temporary blocking of a user.
