In celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Library is hosting a special event about Betty Shabazz, Coretta Scott King, and Myrlie Evers.

These women, three prominent civil rights leaders and widows of key figures in the fight for racial justice: Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Medgar Evers, respectively, worked to advance the cause of equality and preserve the legacies of their late husbands.
