Students are invited to submit original poetry addressing the prompt "Who deserves an American education?" 

There are two age categories: middle school and high school, with a grand prize of $100 and two $25 runner-up prizes for each category.

The deadline to submit is November 2nd. Submissions will be shared online and during our Bridging Rights: Ruby Bridges and the Right to Education program, which takes place November 14, from 6:30-8PM at the Library's fireplace.

Students who submit poems are invited to read them at the event, but participation in the event is not required to be eligible to win.
