The Benicia Library Foundation is proud to announce its participation in Live Solano-Give Solano through the Solano Community Foundation. This is Solano Community Foundation’s inaugural day of giving on October 1. Donors can make early gifts or schedule donations in advance at livesolanogivesolano.org/organization/Benicia-Library-Foundation 

Since 2004, the Benicia Library Foundation has raised funds for vital library improvements, including self-check machines, meeting room chairs, a people counter for the entrance, public restroom upgrades and more. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for capital improvements and special projects that enhance the Benicia Public Library. These enhancements would not have been possible without the support of Benicia’s generous community.

Funds raised during this year’s Day of Giving will go directly toward projects and equipment that improves the library experience for all patrons.

“This is the start of the Foundation’s fundraising year, and every gift helps our library thrive,” said Foundation representatives. “We invite the community to join us in supporting the library during this exciting new event.”

The Foundation is hoping to raise money during the Day of Giving to help the library purchase items that will be useful to the patrons.
