Michael and Peg are both artists and photographers.
Together they created Harmonic Visions, a fusion of photography and digital collage inspired by their travels in Switzerland and Italy last year.

The impetus for their journey was a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony/Ode to Joy with the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Peg is a member of the chorus, and Michael went along in his official
capacity as photographer to document the weeks of rehearsing and performing in Scuol, an enchanting village in the Swiss Alps.

After saying their goodbyes in Switzerland, Michael and Peg continued their travels to Italy, where they visited Lake Como, Venice, and Florence.

Their experience was total immersion in stunning landscapes, historical sites and artistic masterpieces. Every location provided ample opportunity to capture amazing photographic images. But as artists, Peg and Michael
sought to capture a sense of the blending of time and place. Each artwork includes elements of the past, the present, and a possible future.
