The League of Women Voters Solano County and the Benicia Public Library are again cosponsoring the Great Decisions Extension Series, an informal discussion group focused on current events.

Meetings will be Mondays starting June 17th with the topic of Disinformation. Followed by July 15th discussing the Middle East with the focus on Israel and Gaza.

August 19th, Sept, 16th Oct. 21st. Topics for later meetings to be determined.

Information about each meeting and a Zoom link to participate virtually will be available by request at greatdecisions.bpl@gmail.com. The program provides background information and policy options for the most critical issues facing America each year and serves as the focal text for discussion groups across the country.

The first topic will be reading and discussing Barbara McQuade's book "Attack From Within: How Disinformation is Sabotaging America."
