You will need to pick up and return these items to the Benicia Library Public Services desk.

You will need to sign a hold harmless form. You are expected to know how to safely use these tools and the borrower is the only one allowed to use the tools. While the City takes no responsibility for the work you do with these tools, we hope that borrowing these tools will help you save time and money.

You must be 18 years old or older.

Do not put them through the book drop. You are responsible for any damages.

Please clean all tools before returning them.

Patron is responsible for supplying their own consumables. The library will supply the tool.

AIR INFLATOR

It features a high-pressure rubber hose for durability. The threaded chuck and included onboard accessories make it easy to inflate items from tires to footballs. Setting desired air pressure is simple with the digital gauge, and the auto-shutoff provides accurate inflation. BULB CHANGING KIT

4 piece light bulb changing kit Includes attachments to change standard incandescent bulbs, floodlights, and recessed bulbs plus a steel pole that extends from 52 inches to 11 feet.

CALIPER

The lower edge of the caliper beam is scaled in tenths of an inch (0.1) and measures up to 6 inches. Each full inch and incremental tenth of an inch is indicated. The upper edge of the caliper beam is scaled in millimeters and measures up to 150 millimeters. Every millimeter is indicated. Patron must supply batteries. Requires a LR44 or SR44 battery.

CHISEL SET

The kit contains a 1/4", 1/2'', 3/4'', and 1'' chisels. These chisels feature handles that are ergonomically designed for comfortable usage. For durability, they have hardened carbon-steel blades and strike caps.

WOOD CARVING SET

This is a beginner woodcarving set. It is light duty. If you want to do some occasional carving or want to try out carving for the first time, this set will be perfect. Overall length is about six inches. 2 chisels, 2 gouges, 1 skew, 1 V tool in a chisel roll.

DREMEL KITS

The Dremel 3000 includes 8 collets and various supplies for cutting, grinding, sanding, carving and polishing a variety of materials.

The Dremel 4000 includes 1 rotary tool, 2 attachments, 1 nose cap wrench, and 30 accessories. The manufacturer boasts that "the Dremel 4000 is the most versatile rotary tool available today. It has a wide speed range including a high performance motor with electronic feedback that allows the tool to maintain its speed under load."

DRILL DRIVER KIT

Cordless Drill Driver has a high-speed transmission that delivers two speeds (0-450 and 1500 rpm) for a range of fastening and drilling applications. The drill driver set includes screw bits, drill bits, and screw extractor set.

EDGER

This Edger comes equipped with an edge guide to help you consistently and cleanly manicure your lawns edges while protecting the blade from accidental scrapes and nicks against abrasive surfaces. ELECTRICAL TESTER

Circuit Alert Non-Contact Voltage Detector indicates the presence of AC Voltage from 50 - 600 V. Visual (flashing) and audible (beeping) indicators signal presence of voltage. Built-in safe test feature assures batteries are operating properly. No need to contact bare conductor. Tests outlets, switches, circuit breaker panels, wiring, and light fixtures. FRUIT PICKER

Featuring an 8 foot telescoping handle, it easy to reach fruit from the tallest of trees. It's coated wire metal picking basket is lined with a soft foam sponge on the bottom, designed to prevent fruit damage. A metal basket, approximately 10 x 6 inches, with hooked ends for detaching fruit from the tree and a pad for cushioning the fruit. The basket is attached to a telescoping wooden pole, which comes in two parts, with the parts being joined by a metal collar, screw and fastener.

GARDEN HOE

The garden hoe is for chopping, weeding and clearing garden growth. The blade is serrated at the edges for cleaner cutting. It is good for smaller landscaping and gardening requirements.

GLUE GUN

A full-size glue gun for crafts, floral, and do-it-yourself projects. Use high-temperature glue sticks for better bonding to metal, wood, plastics, ceramics, magnet, and all non-porous materials. The higher the temperature the better the bond. Uses 4-Inch or 10-Inch glue sticks with 7/16-Inch diameter. Plug in the cord for power and unplug immediately after use. The metal flip stand safely keeps the glue gun upright while in use. Insert the glue stick into the chamber, and pull the trigger to advance the glue. Patron supplies the glue sticks.

This Flexvolt 60V MAX Cordless Grinder adds even more power to our line of powerful grinder tools. It’s part of our product line with Kickback Brake and the Anti-Rotation e-clutch System. The grinder also delivers 13 Amp motor equivalent power with a no-load speed of 9000 rpm.

HAND TRUCK (CONVERTIBLE)

This heavy-duty convertible hand truck has a 600 lb. load capacity. It easily converts from a 2 wheel vertical hand truck to a 4 wheel platform cart in the horizontal position. Flow back handle allows for one or two hand operation. 4 in. swivel casters give this truck increased maneuverability in the horizontal position.

HEAT GUN

Klein Tools thermometer is a professional dual laser targeting infrared thermometer, offering a wide measurement range, a tight distance to spot ratio, dual targeting lasers and several calculation modes to facilitate different temperature measurement applications. The dual lasers assist in targeting the measurement area. The distance between the 2 laser spots on the surface of the object being measured approximates the diameter of the circular measurement area from which the infrared sensor is collecting data. -22-degrees to 752-degrees F. JACK

This 2-1/2 Ton (5000 lbs) Trolley Jack. Change tires and oil or perform other vehicle maintenance. With its heavy-duty steel construction, it has the strength to lift a wide range of makes and models. The saddle is shaped to grip the underside and remain securely in place while you pump the handle. It lifts up to a maximum of 14 15/16 inches to provide you with clearance and rolls easily along the garage floor on front and rear wheels. LEAF BLOWER

The 20V Max Brushless Handheld Blower provides the ability to clear debris with an air volume of up to 450 cubic feet per minute and up to 125 miles per hour with the concentrator nozzle. LEVEL - 5 POINT LASER KIT

The Bosch GPL100-50G features a five-point, self-leveling laser with ±1/8 in. accuracy at 30 Ft. for up/down plumb, align, and level applications (the bottom point’s accuracy is ±1/4 in. at 30 ft.). This unit features green-beam technology, which is up to 4X brighter than standard red beams. The unit includes point projection to the front. It is faster than a standard manual plumb bob. The unit includes several durability features, such as the Smart Pendulum System to lock the laser when switched off, 360 degree rotation, a hard carrying case and full rubber overmold housing. The integrated multipurpose laser mount features strong magnets. Kit also includes a tripod.

Proportional audio - speaker volume varies weight target depth. Detects washer-size objects up to 6 inches deep; larger objects up to 2 feet. 6.5 inch weather resistant coil. Extends to 27 inches. MOISTURE METER

Humidity senor, our combo meter tool can quickly determine what level of remediation is needed to keep your family safe from black mold. High levels of dampness that go untreated are the leading cause of harmful fungus growth in the home. Find the moisture content in your floors, plastered walls, and wood. The mold test features 2 dedicated displays, moisture percentage, ambient temperature, and relative humidity. This Milwaukee cordless finish nailer features a compact and ergonomic design providing access into tight spaces where nailing is required while limiting fatigue when using the tool.

NAIL PULLERS

The nail claw has a beveled nail slot just right for gripping nail heads for removal. The 10-1/4 inch length provides ample leverage to make tasks easier. It's heat-treated for resilience. BELT SANDER

ORIBTAL SANDER

This round digging shovel is to be utilized for general lawn and garden work. This tool with a tempered steel blade is suitable for digging, planting, cutting sod and small roots.

WIRING SET
