Junior Kids' Book Club Postponed

Today's Junior Kids’ Book Club for kids in 2nd and 3rd grades has been postponed until next Tuesday, June 29th at 3:30 p.m.


This month we will be reading "Say What"
by Margaret Haddix. Meetings are the
4th Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m.  Books for next month's read are handed out at the meeting or are at the Cutomer Service Desk after the meeting.

Hwy 780 Closure between Glen Cove and Columbus Pkwy

Detours will be in effect on I-780 Wednesday and Thursday night, June 23 and June 24 between 10:00 pm - 4:00 am, with the freeway closed in one direction of travel at a time.  Traffic will be detoured between the Glen Cove and Columbus Parkway interchanges along Benicia Road and Columbus Parkway.  Viking Construction will remove the bridge falsework requiring closure of eastbound and westbound I-780 from Columbus Parkway to the Glen Cove exit.

FYI: Scheduled Road Repair

The Public Works Maintenance Division has road repair scheduled to begin on Monday, June 21, 2010, in the intersection of Military West and West 7th Street.  If you are traveling on Military and want to turn onto West 7th, you will be detoured onto Drolette, then right onto Cheryl and then out onto West 7th.  Any questions can be directed to Public Works at 746-4296.
