Sunday FREE H1N1 shot walk-in clinics scheduled:

January 31st

at 250 Georgia Street, Vallejo from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

and at 2948 Rockville Road, Fairfield (at the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple) from 1 to 4 p.m.

The clinics are open to the general public but children age 9 and under who need the second H1N1 booster are strongly encouraged to attend as well as those in a high risk group. Both nasal flu mist vaccine and shots will be given as along as long as supplies are available.

High risk groups include:

• Pregnant women,
• Household and caregiver contacts of children younger than 6  months of age,
• Health Care and emergency medical service providers,
• Persons from 6 months through 24 years of age,
• Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have medical conditions associated with high influeneza complications. 

The clinics will be conducted by Touro University in partnership with Solano Public Health.
